Botanical Perfume

Nestled beneath Table Mountain in Cape Town, we are inspired by the rich biodiversity of the Cape Floral Kingdom, where botanical ingredients shape our philosophy. Each botanical ingredient is made up of hundreds of molecules, creating a unique and complex chemical profile. Unlike conventional practices, we choose not to separate these molecules and avoid the use of isolates in all our products.

Synthetic fragrances, crafted in labs, rely on single molecules to mimic the dominant scent of a plant. In contrast, botanical ingredients are grown, harvested, and extracted, often in small yields influenced by shifting weather patterns, making them truly unique and natural.

In our Magnolia Parfum, we use beeswax absolute, derived from natural beeswax, as indicated in the product description. All our other perfumes are vegan. Unlike synthetic perfumes, botanical fragrances wear closer to the skin, easily absorbing and blending with each wearer’s natural scent, creating a personalized fragrance.

The sillage, or projection, of botanical perfumes is more subtle compared to commercial fragrances, which aligns with our belief that perfume should be enjoyed intimately by those closest to you. Our perfumes are concentrated at 25-30%, ensuring lasting wear.

Botanical ingredients defy traditional gender or social classifications, embracing a natural complexity that makes all our fragrances gender-neutral.
