A nostalgic perfume that encapsulates the part of my childhood that was spent in the little village of Saint-Jeannet in Provence. The lavender was a constant presence; when it wasn’t flowering in the field behind the house it was kept in cross-stitched pouches in all the cupboards. The rosemary hedge, which I would pick at. The smell of wild grasses sweating in the heat that is so particular to Mediterranean mountains. Neither the lavender nor the rosemary are especially herbal in this interpretation: the lavender is powdery and the rosemary resinous.  Overall it is a warm and comforting perfume.

The ingredients in this perfume are dark and slightly sticky. This is simply the nature of some botanical perfume ingredients. It will not permanently stain your skin.
